Nicki and Richard’s central Wellington wedding

Nicki and Richard were married at Wellington’s gorgeous Sacred Heart Cathedral right before New Year, in a lovely music-filled ceremony officiated by Richard’s uncle Justin. Richard sings in choirs, and so his peers were all up in the choir loft singing as Nicki and her Dad walked down the aisle – it was a beautiful moment. Less beautiful but equally musical I guess was the moment when Justin’s cellphone rang during the vows. Made for some great photos though.

Richard had composed a piece of music especially for Nicki, and the choir sang it for the first dance, before the awesome covers band The Blueprint took over and had everyone up and dancing in no time.

Thank you Nicki and Richard for such a relaxed, laughter-filled day – I loved it.

Once more you have beautifully captured a lovely and happy wedding. I loved the shots where strategic sunlight features. The bride’s dress was so beautiful (I love lace) and I loved the coloured ties (and ties) of the menfolk. Such happy and also special moments well captured. Well done – again.

You have an amazing ability to capture *just* the right moment, from the laughter during the morning, through to hugs & kisses and the crazy dancefloor. Magical!
