Jenna & Dylan’s wedding

So I finally made it to Blogworld! I am SO down with 2002.
I thought I’d start with Jenna’s and Dylan’s wedding from a while back. I loved the looks on the faces of these two when they saw each other as Jenna’s parents walked her up the aisle: Jenna beaming with joy and Dylan struggling to contain his emotion. The ceremony was held under some big old trees at Dylan’s Dad’s place just north of Masterton. Then we had a wild cross-country 4WD ride (through ditches, with wheels spinning in the mud, champagne glasses smashing in the back and Jet clinging to the roof!) up to Masterton’s own “stonehenge” to do some photos there. The lead driver took a wrong turn en route, which took us past a beautiful old barn that I got very excited about. Luckily Jenna and Dylan were open to the idea of returning to it after the stone circle, even though we were a bit short on time, and we got some great shots as the light was beautiful there and it was a pretty amazing backdrop. The reception was held in a marquee back at the farm, and included a moving haka from one of Dylan’s friends.  Thanks to assistant Meegan Sandilands for taking the great shots of the vintage wedding car doing burn-outs, while I was at the salon with the girls!
