My friend Bronwyn brought her two beautiful children Sophie and Milo out to my parents' farm to visit us while we were staying there over the school holidays. I asked Sophie, perfectly attired in her thick leopard-print coat, if she'd like to see some cattle and ducks and she replied in a clear and commanding three-year-old voice: "I want to see some machinery." So there was a bit of loader-driving went on, as well as some duck-chasing, fairy garden discovering and egg collecting.
Eva and Sophie find a magic fairy garden (moss) growing in the cracks in the concrete.
The recalcitrant chickens had laid only one egg, so the one that Milo took home came out of the fridge. He never suspected a thing.
