I'm not sure I've ever seen so much grinning at a wedding. And there were only 10 guests, so that's saying something.
Ara and Colin were married at the Soundshell in Wellington's Botanic Gardens, on the 12th of the 12th, 2012. The ceremony was meant to be at 12pm, but Ara was bit late (about... 12 minutes I reckon). It was a really intimate wedding, after a big 150-guest knees-up in Mexico (apparently a very small wedding by Mexican standards). It was nearly even more intimate than they planned, after Colin accidentally told the guests it would be held at The Dell, rather than at the Soundshell - Lynn and John waited at The Dell for an hour before hiking over the ridge and down the other side to check whether perhaps Colin had made a mistake. Fortunately they were organised people who'd been early to begin with, so they still made it in time.
I was just there for two hours, and then the newlyweds and their guests headed to the Parade Cafe on the waterfront to celebrate.
