Farewell to the tree - I have a new logo
It was about time I got rid of that tree. Why a tree in the first place?? Who knows, really. But I felt for a while that I needed a tree, so I photographed one on Wallace St that I liked the look of, and a designer turned it into an icon for me. But it has served whatever (debatable) purpose it had, and now it is no more. I'm so stoked with my new logo, designed by my talented friend Graeme Offord. Mine is not an easy name to work with! I love the simplicity and strength of the logo he came up with, and he's also given me a 'stack' that I can use as an icon and watermark.
I met Graeme, a graphic designer currently living in Sydney, when he got together with Alistair Forgan, who I met at uni. I was lucky enough to photograph their beautiful wedding in 2013, at a vineyard in Blenheim. Graeme is a master of packaging who particularly loves a good font: you can check out some of his awesome work here.
